Have an educational family outing at the LBJ Library’s latest exhibit, To the Moon: The American Space Program in the 1960s, running now through July 20th.
The To the Moon exhibit begins with the early days of space study (think Galileo, Copernicus) and even includes the handwritten manuscript of Einstein’s The Foundation of the General Theory of Relativity. Your little science buffs will span history with the Wright Brothers, Chuck Yeager and Sputnik, and even witness the emergence of Sci-Fi and birth of NASA.
