With all this buzz about the 4th generation iPhone, you’re convinced you have to have one. (Hey, it actually works as a phone too!) Since we know you love to be on the cutting edge, we’ve got the low down on a cool event featuring another generational expert.

Karl Jonson, a 3rd generation silhouette artist from L.A., will be at Izzy and Ash on July 17th creating custom works of art on-site. His work has been featured in over 30 international publications and he’s done portraits for Oprah (her dogs), JLo, Jennifer Garner and more. Using just scissors, black paper and a masterful eye, Johnson captures a striking piece of silhouette art in just a matter of minutes.

And there isn’t an app in the world that can do that.
