Now through May 17th, The Blanton is hosting the Birth of Cool: California Art, Design, and Culture at Midcentury. This ambitious tour originated in Orange County and is making its last stop in Austin. Incorporating art, architecture, furniture design, film and music, the exhibition gives an all encompassing glimpse into mid-century modernism.
